I checked into school today after me and mom took my sister to the doctor.
At my school, between 1st and 2nd block, we have 10 minute break. I came in right at the end of that. Suddenly, four or five guys appear at my class door, where I'm talking with a friend in class. They're all pointing and looking at me so I kind of look back. And suddenly one blurts out "YEAH! THAT'S HER!"
And so, I walk over and say "I'm who?" and they say "Yeah, who are you?" I say "Kayla-Marie" and they all look at my ID and nod. And one smiles and says "You wouldn't happen to have been in Atlanta this weekend?" I smile back and say "Yeah, at AWA with some friends, why did you see me in the mall or something?"
This is the best part here:
One says "Oh, no, you're the chibi-flyer-poster-girl from the blue table!"
Okay, for those of you who didn't go to AWA, I passed out flyers for PO like crazy. So, now, even in Pell City High School in Alabama, people know me.

Kat...thats awesome! It shows that everyone goes to AWA! glad to know now that other peeps from alabama went along for the ride as well, and that you have more peers to discuss the fun subject of the Otaku with!

I did gain new friends, they all sat with me at lunch (I usually sit alone) and they say hey to me in the hall. ^_^
