Rolling Backpacks... What do you think of them???

I am thinking about doing a Persuasive Speech on Why I think Rolling backpacks should be baned from use in school, unless you have a note from a doctor or a doctor writes you some kind of perscription for one.

What are your Thoughts on this topic???

In some ways I agree with you Pandy Mandy, but instead of arguing against the backpacks themselves I would argue against those who use them who have no freak'n clue what the heck they're doing! I currently go to community college and not a day goes by when I don't see some would-be-trendy 30-40 year old lady walk'n around with one of these things and knocking it into people and desks and it's just plain annoying. Yes, I know that backpacks are heavy and that it's probably better to have these rolling ones, but if you can't manipulate the darn thing so that it doesn't go coliding into something every five minutes I think you should be cut off!
Maybe we ought to start a 'Rolling Backpack Re-Education Class' so that people can earn their Rolling-License.

I think it's a free country and no one can deny you the use of anything. I'm against not allowing teachers to have guns in schools let alone not arming school security..That'd teach them punk kids.

But rolling back-packs are the equivalent of driving. If you give an Idiot and Evo or Lancer (Damn Shino invading my vocabulary) and they drive all idiotically it's their perogative. If they hit someone or something it's also their fault. AND you can tell when driving who is an idiot and needs to be avoided. If you see a bad Back-Packer then avoid them. If you see a good back-packer get their number and take them out for a beer and maybe some sodomy or something.

Worst. Things. Ever.

Because of all the space they take up in the halls, it's hard to get around them. And since the halls are crowded enough as it is, you'll usually end up tripping on them, or at least stubbing a toe. And of course, the people using them always blame it on those who kick them. I've made it a point to kick them whenever I see them in the halls, which is much rarer this year than previous. Probably because of all the hard work.

Yeah, It really does hurt what with the combo of heavy backpack loads (have you SEEN my school books!?) and umm....melons. It think people with these uh..."problems" should be allowed to use em. Like me.
