Volleyball! Yay!

Excel and I coach youth volleyball on base here. The kids are great. We look forward to this time of year each year! So we took them to a college volleyball game at the local college. The girls were doing cheers and being just hysterical! We got pictures, and I will be making a website for the team, so I'll be sure to post the site address when we get it up. It was just too fun. 6 to 12 year-old girls with tons of sugar, all together. Scary, but fun. Of course, we were up every 2 seconds because we had to go with them everytime they went to go get a snack (every second...we switched off LOL).

Our team lost, but hopefully the girls learned something. We pointed out why the team lost (They kept leaving a gaping hole right in the middle of the court. I swear about 9 out 0f the 10 points that were actually scored on them--not ones where they had a bad serve or hit it out of bounds or whatever--were because of the hole in their defense), so maybe it will make the girls be more aggressive, go for the ball, and actually communicate. Of course, that is not likely, but a coach can hope!
