Well, some genius guy was disappointed at all the LAN games coming out for Gamecube lately and no online play. So what did he do ? He created his own online gameplay !!! SHWEET !!!!
The project its going fast even though its hard. And he expects by November 11 - 19 he can have it up and running for Mario Kart Double Dash !!!

yeah, i just read about this a couple of days ago, project WarpPipe they call it. the code looks good, there are almost near compleation of it. Can't wait to test it out. |

So wait... MKDD is up to 8 players... it says "broadband"
Can you play this online or do you use 2 cubes linked by broadband to play 8 players? |

Right now you can link cubes together via LAN.
This project basically tricks the system into thinking its in a LAN when you're really playing against someone online. |

Yeah. We tried using WarpPipe once in a DD game, trying to get the people to hook up, and it never happened, so hopefully they've amde teh code better and more workable. |

OK I was just wondering. We are doing game night over here on Friday and Hoth was talking about linking double dash. Wasn't sure how until I did a little research. |
