My first was "Ghost in the Shell". I was called one evening by Daijaga and Co. and invited over for a pizza/movie night. I wasn't really told what it was we were gonna watch, but once I got over there, I figured I might as well stay. I'd seen a couple minutes, prior to this engagement, of things on CN like DBZ, CB, and OS...but nothing with any real attention put into it. I must say, the pizza was delightful (especially with the Ranch dressing I brought) but I was just sorta mesmerized by a cartoon with adult themes to it that really just..."held" me. I'd really and truly figured my "cartoon days" were over with. Boy was I a bit on the wrong side...Since then, Daijaga and friends I've met through him have provided me with the "fix" I need now and then..(fresh anime) I've since assimilated others to our cause by enlightening their minds to the beauty that is Anime and the joy of realizing the inner Otaku in all of us. This first viewing of Ghost in the Shell took place nigh on 3 years ago, and I haven't looked back since. I have, recently, checked out the new Stand Alone Complex, and I'm pleased with it, thus far. I hope I can spread this same horrible addiction to others out there that are sadly ignorant of the existance of cartoons that do better the job most live action sitcoms/series try to do.

I have no idea. It was just some anime I saw on a local Florida chanell in Lakeland when I was three. All I can remeber is that it had a green-hiared guy. The first anime that I know of wacthing was Macross. |

Speed Racer lol.
But Blue Seed is what made me an Otaku.
To this day, Blue Seed is still my favorite anime of all time. What's sad is that I'm one of the only people I know who has actually seen it.
I remember flipping through the channeles when we first got satelite. It used to come on the Adventure Channel. I started watching it religiously and then I got hooked onto Anime. I found others like myself with a passion for anime and I became an Otaku. |

When I was little I had a bunch of bootleg copies of giant super robot animes, a bunch they aired in english over here as "Force Five" cartoons or something. Stuff like Getter Robo, Grandizer, etc. Didn't even know they were anime for a loooong time, but I loved them just the same. It eventually lead to my Gundam addiction today! Well, addiction to any giant mecha for that matter. |

Robotech represent! That was the first anime I ever watched but I was like five, so the second first would probably have to be Tenchi Muyo. I didn't like DBZ right away, but I loved Tenchi Muyo. |

Record of Lodoss War OAV, my cousin got it in the mail and we all watched it. It was the best thing I ever saw, the story, the characters, and at the time plenty of blood splattering violence since then i hunt anime religously |

Voltron, Thudercats, ah the greats...but wait. For a time in the house of Graillik there was cable. And the cable provide a station of great magnitude known as The SciFi Channel. On sunday mornings there would be great rejoicing as greats like 8 Man After, Robotech, Crying Freeman, and other greats. This was my immersion into the genre. My first movie was at the tender age of 8 on the same station, Dai and I watched the greatest Anime film to date for the purpose of mass movement toward a global Anime Convergence. The only Anime I have ever heard of being played to the masses for free in Time Square, New York New York. It is a day for anime. |

The first anime I knew was anime was Fushigi Yugi.
In front of that, however, I watched Armor Legend Samurai Troopers (as Ronin Warriors) without knowing that it was an anime as a younger child. |
