The Windows "Smart Phone"

Man I just had to post this so you guys could laugh with me.

I have a guy that I work with who bought a new phone. It was the new Motorola (sp?) Windows Smart Phone.

Well I joke all the time about not wanting a "Windows" phone b/c ... That's all I need is to get the blue screen of death while I'm on the phone with my girl or something.

Well the Joke comes partially true. We went to happy hour last week and he was showing me his phone. He hits the short cut to get to "Games" and the screen comes up blank. Then everytime he tries to get to "Games," even going the long way, the screen displays nothing. He had to power down the phone and power it back up again. Then... Hey look... games!

Same normal windows theory right... All else fails, restart.

Well today he came in and said he was returning the phone. Why, b/c he said a similar problem happened and when he powered down the phone, it wouldn't power back up. He said it was the second time it had happened and he actually had to remove the battery and put it back in, then the phone powered back up.

Man... I am having a field day with this one.

The fact is that he has only had the phone for a few weeks. Another guy I work with has one of the Samsung Palm Phones and he has never had a problem with it. And I know for a fact he has had it for well over a year.

It helps that a friend of mine got a Pocket PC last week and told me she had it already freeze up on her.

You know... I have hardly ever heard anyone complain about having problems with a "Palm" OS based item. I just think it's funny that the jokes turned into reality with Pocket PC and the Windows "Stupid Ass Phone"

That's a funyy story. But I have a Pocket PC and I've never had a problem with it. Actually, I love it!! It helps me organize my life!!
I guess I must be a rare one, but I <3 my Pocket PC!!!!
