I never played tekken before, but since nobody dares challenge my soul calibur skills anymore I started playing. So far I like it. The cabinet at the local arcade is just real pretty. It's kind of hard to describe in order to do it any justice, so you'll just have to go find one. You can purchase a memory card (kind of like Initial D) to gain ranks and purchase items for you character (like Virtual Fighter 4 kumite mode). I'm still really bad, but then again I sucked at SC when I started playing too.
Anyone else a tekken fan? |

I think Soul Calibur may be the superior fighting game, but Tekken is right on its heals...especially if you prefer more "realism". I was a big fan of Tekken Tag, and firmly believe that I can take pretty much anyone...except Tobs. I never got around to playing Tekken 4, and now 5, but I'm assuming they're pretty similar. I may have to try this one out.

I'm not to big of a fan of the arcade stick so I take my PS2 controller when I go to play. It seems a little easier to handle. |
