I've got a rather funny story from my brothers last wrestling tournament on Tuesday. This week at the Red Rumble our 189 wrestler unfortunately sprained his ankle in the semi finals. He did place 4th overall; however, he was unable to walk up and collect his medal. So somebody has to go receive the medal and stand in for the picture for the paper.
The person they picked was oh yes....my brother who happens to wrestle 119. So this week in the Gainesville paper there will be one very very very little 189 4th place medaler. ^-^
I only wish I had a camera at the time. |

if i were a 19 and i saw that pic, then had to wrestle the guy, i dont know if i could do it. that would kinda psyke ya out thinking that the guy your about to wrestle just placed fourth while wrestling up 70lbs.  at the very least, thinking it over and deciding it was a fluke would be very distracting.
but heh that is preaty funny. |
