It's coming. Sooon. I played the demo at EB and was in love with it. Even if you aren't a RE fan it's worth taking a look at. It's more action based like RE Outbreak was. The enemies are a lot smarter in this one too. In the demo I was nearing this village and I scouted out the npcs wandering around. Ok guy on the left with the scythe, guy on the right with the pitchfork. Ok Let's go. Run up shoot the scythe guy in the face. Turn around shoot the pitchfork guy. Alright doing good. Turn around. Big group there. Oh crap. Run back to where I came from. Three guys waiting there for me. Oh crap. Turn around. Oh crap I'm surrounded. There's supposed to be a merchant in this game too. So you can buy ammo/weapons. You can also upgrade your weapons to make them fire faster/etc. Seems very interesting.

I picked up the Special Edition version yesterday. It came in a big red tin with the RE4 logo on it. I played it at my friend, Serge's house. We got all the way to El Lago, he's like, this giant mutated alligator. He's the first boss you fight. It's craaay-zeee.

The game's awesome, though. It's friggin' amazing. I'm havin' crazy fun shooting crazy Spaniards, ha ha. The new system is really interesting. There's nothing cooler than shooting a scuzzy lookin' spanish dude in the face, then roundhouse kicking him in the head and watching it explode all over your pants...that's hot.

Also, they speak pretty good spanish...and they cuss like sailors. Hell, the first guy you meet is all like "Que carajo estas aciendo aqui?! Largate CABRON!" (What the hell are you doing here? Get outta' here, Dumbass!) And they're always saying "Mierda!" (Shit!). I find this amusing, heh.

I gotta' say, though, despite the game rocking so hard, I'm a little dissapointed in Capcom for trying so hard to be like Metal Gear. It's even got Codec-style scenes where Leon's talking to some chick. That's not even necessary. Also, so far, I'm not getting the feel of Resident Evil at all. This game isn't the slightest bit spooky. I feel more like I'm playing "24: Jack Bauer's Spanish Psycho Vacation" than a Resident Evil game, heh.

Regardless, the game's incredibly awesome.
