Le Clicki

To say the truth, it turned out a lot brighter than I originally intended. I guess it correlates with the mood I was in.

ANyway.
Special thanks goes to BWS-1 and Shuri for translation, as well as translation check.

edit: silly BB codes.

Wow, this is a startling peice. Theres a lot going on in just a few images. It alsmost seems like the four key points, text, butterflies, open eye girl, and bleedig eye girl; are all seperate images placed accedentally into one picture. Thats the vibe I got, like these four peices are confused, each seems to have a dramatically different point. The thing that argues agasinst that though is how well the points look together, their colors and placment are beyond incedental, theres a story or a point behind all four. I with I could read french and I might be able to put it all together.

Well done, navinator.

It's not failed at all! I really like the hair and the eye of the happy looking girl.

Actually, I think it really works well. The words are saying don't be sad, so it makes sense that the sad girl is very distinct and seperate from the other girl. To me, the words and the butterflies fit well with the happy girl, and the sad girl is the only one that stands apart as though she were in a seperate image...which, as I explained above, makes sense to me.

I LOVE the colours and the textures! It looks so soft. What media did you use? Pastels? The happy girl really does many me feel happy and peaceful by looking at her. She seems so young and full of life.

Photoshop.Smile

I guess it does make sense. See. Originally when I started the drawing I was only in the emotional state of the "eye opening" part. Realizing what it is that causes pain and well, eyes open. BING!

Then it got left off a couple of days due to work and such. When I actually come back to work on the finer details and the background type thing, I was actually feeling quite a lot better that it translated into the picture that most of it become a lot brighter and happier.

I guess that is why in the end the sad girl stands out. Cuz.. I kinda don't identify with her anymore.

Thanks Kiyomi. Your comments on both pictures are much appreciated, Smile

Okay, I'm still learning Photoshop. What do you use to make it so soft in Photoshop? I know how to create that effect using regular art supplies, but not Photoshop.

I personally have two ideas in mind for softening:

A) If using some kind of pencil, stroke said pencil, then try to mimic it as best as you can by tweaking the paint tool of Photoshop.
B) If done with a finger or some kind of smoothing tool, use the smudge tool with a VERY low opacity amount, something like 5, with a soft edge.
C) If neither is how you soften up a pic, forget about me, I'll just go play PSO. Razz

Okay, in that case, just give me a good Paintshop guide because I don't know where half the tools are. LOL.
