You can't make a masterpiece without practice. I think a 3-d Castlvania is an interesting prospect. Lament of Innocence I thought was vastly greater than other attempts, and was indeed a step in the right direction. Now it's a chance to see how much they've improved since then. Something I take great prospect in seeing. |

I personally liked LoI despite what everyone else says. I only wish it had more exploring and everything was connected together, but thats a lot harder to do in 3D than 2D. |

Which is why it would have made a great Vampire Killing game and it sucked as a Castelvania game.
People who grew up on Castlevania expect the castle to interlace and to explore said castle till your thumbs are raw and bloody nubs.
Konami needs to stop pretending to be Capcom and putting their games into 3D...Devil May Cry 2 sucked, Mega-Man X7 sucked, and so did MM Mission Command or whatever it was. Why is Konami trying to follow a failing business model?
Even Street Fighter one of the top rated 2D fighters went to 3D and collapsed like a flan in a cupboard. |
