Is it just me, or are companies really going consol crazy?! There are more consols coming out now and soon than ever, I think! I cannot keep up! |

HAHA look at Dreamcast being all alone. Imagine if that had come out when the N64 did or shortly after. Man... Nintendo would have been crying and the N64 wouldn't have done as well as it did. I think it was awesome in comparison to the PS2 but it lost out to the PS fans who'd seen many new game systems come out waiting on the new Playstation. OF course most everyone I knew pre-ordered one of the PS2s and only my friends and die hard Sega fans purchased the Dreamcast.
And the NGage does not count as a portable. If you count that you have to count my cellphone as well cause I can download games like you can't imagine! It's the same thing. |

As if the games are not expensive enough to buy, now there are just so many systems! It would be fine if all the games I wanted were on the systems I have, but it never works that way. |

Thats why there are cross platform games. Alot of games come out for all three systems but what sets them apart are the exclusives. They encourage people to buy that company's console for X reason vs Y reason on a different console. This IS a business afterall. Nobody would make any money if every game came on every console. |

I agree with the too many consoles speech. I have a hard enough time keeping up with owning a PS2, Xbox, and GBA; Now, only five years after coming out, their succesors are getting the most news. I love my current systems, whatta ya say we keep em a little bit longer? |

No kidding, Zane! We have a PS2, an XBox, a Gamecube, all the a GB, a GB Pocket, a GB Color, a GBA, and a GBA SP...and now we have to start all over and get a ton of new stuff!
I agree, keep them longer! I mean, I like new consols because they offer really neat things, but it's just so hard to keep up! |
