You know the kind. Where you wake up at 5 am to work on a paper, and find out you let your friend borrow your resources? Where you decide to dress snazzy, and a car slaps a puddle all over your pants? Where you are so excited because you're setting up your birthday party and your bestest friend who you've been talking to about it for WEEKS and then when you give him his invitation he says he is already going to some crappy dime-a-dozen concert? Where a girl you like finally starts talking to you, but then you find out she's already dating somebody? Where you are super happy because you are about to register for you're easy cruisin' senior classes, but you find out you need to take Personal Fitness and Economics instead of Newspaper?
The kind of day where you set every single little thing up to go perfectly for yourself, and somebody is able to shoot it down? Yeah, that was my day. So I come on to try and find somebody to talk to, and end up getting yelled at. Optimism is SO over rated. |

actually I just read an article saying something about how optimism helps you live longer...
Sorry you had such a bad day...maybe tomorrow will be better, and, in any case, it's just one day. At least its not a week or month or something. |

Yeah. I'm usually fairly optimistic. I've made it through the toughest 3 years of my life already, and it taught me how important it is to keep pressing forward. I just needed to let out my anger since every other medium was cut off. |

Mod Yes. The absolute frustration is enough to drive you crazy.
That is Life though. There's always a constant struggle to be happy. You think you have everything setup perfectly and then something somewhere throws a monkey wrench into the works and sets off a chain of events that leads things down the gutter. Trust me, I know that feeling. The Days where everything seems to be going wrong and nothing can go right. How you feel like you have THE Worst luck ever. I know this as well.
But you know what? That's Life. I wear my scars with pride. I may have a bad day, but you know what that means? That means that tommorrow will be a good day. If not tommorrow then the day after or the day after that. There will be a good day. A day to make me forget everything that made me feel bad.
It's a battle  Today may be lost...but tommorrow is yours for the taking! Go out there and show life you can laugh at the bad luck and misfortune! |

Consider it a blessing if you have these occasionally concentrated Bad Days and that everything else runs smoothly. Yeah, the Bad Days then suck hardcore, but they're few and far between.
Either way, it's only a day. Tomorrow can always be better. |
