I love this game! It's just so different from the other Oddworld games and yet.. the same! I see it got an 8.5 on Gamespot so it can't be that bad if other people agree with me!
The controlls are similar to Halo (I think I can play Halo better now that I've been playing this game) and since it's on the xbox it's an easy transition. It's played in 3rd and 1st person which I love cause when you start to die, you can jump into 3rd person mode and runaway quickly!
I'm not done with the game yet, just stuck cause the bosses are hard as hell. Then again Oddworld games are generally difficult. The last one (Munch's Oddessey) wasn't that hard, but it had a few areas where I was stuck for a generous amount of time.
I recommend this game to anyone who likes first person shooters! Well even for people who don't cause I'm not much for single player first person shooter action.

ive been quite interested in oddworld stranger since before xmas, ive been reading up on it everytime it appeared in my fave gaming magazine, i enjoyed the psone oddworld games (although i didnt get very afr but then back then my patience wasn't as high as it is now, but then thats having a kid for you  ) |

I own 3 of the 4 Oddworld games out (still need the original Abe's Oddessey for PSX) - the only one I have beaten so far is Munch's Oddessey and that's only cause I played it day in and day out til I was done. So fun and so addicting. I got stuck on Abe's Exodus and am still stuck in that same spot. = / The orginals were hard as f*ck! |

You play as a bounty hunter but I haven't gotten to far into it. I know I need 20,000 moolah for an operation or I'll die. So yeah I'm still early in the game. ; ) |

my xbox has got DOA3 in it at the moment, which i got for £10 the other day, but atrangers not out here yet, and cant afford new games atm unless their for special occassions, and my bdays well off in june  lol nm, i got a list of stuff far far too long:| |
