Well? What do you guys think? So far, ive had a fun time with the Kamigawa block, and the introduction of Ninjas to the mix of Samauri with Bushido, and spirits with attitudes really makes this a fun mix up, allowing ninjas to stealthily come in and ravage the opposition
That, and there are many things relying now on playing spirits in order to gain counters and utilize them to fling nasty stuff at the opponent.
Sooooo...the balls are now in your court...thoughts of Betrayers? |

I personaly love kamigawa. both of them. espetialy the samauri(my white weenie is so much better with x4 cage of hands and some kitsune blade masters.)
the spiritcraft abilities are very intesting and also powerful when used in the right way. i like the difent shoals, and callow jushi is a very good blue creature best of the flips in betrayers in my opinion. all in all I give the set a high fun rating.
Ive yet to do a sealed deck tourny with kamigawa, but im going to try soon. |

ya, so far, in kamikazee'ing, or drafting, ive found that the green flipper, the budoka diciple, seems to benefit more, due to the obscene power he gains when he becomes so and so, "who topples oaks" A 4/3 trample who can pump himself +2/+2 is a very scary thought.
But in constructed, i find that the callow jushi will more than likely become a more prominent card |

The best cards have all already been made in my opinion. You cant trump a 2blue coutnerspell, its so simple yet so dangerous. I havent played any of the new expansions since...hmm, before 7th ed. basic. I enjoy card games, btu they eat a lot of money, which is why I generally dont play them at mush as Id like |

I stopped playing after Tempest. I'm into L5R now. If you want a real samurai game, where honor, bushido code, and family clans are involved, lemme know. Ask Daijaga, He's played it.....once....

dude, they've made some pretty nasty cards lately, ranging from an 11/11 indestructable (cannont be destroyed or buried) to counters that can be played for free, to Ninjas who just bounce out and kick you in the gonads reeel hard.
As far as L5R, If your gonna be at AWA again next year Terin, would you mind showing me how it goes? Im kind of interested
That is all |
