HAs anyone else discoverd this adictive tabletop stratagy game? If not, it's really interesting. You build all you pieces, merge them into regiments with a command groups (a muscian, a standard bearer, and a champion) and those regiment form an army led by a general. It is a fantasy setting with many racial armies and pieces to use. My person favorite is the Greenskin army of Orcs and Goblins. I'll get a picture of my army up as soon as i get it painted. Yes you get to build and paint all your own pieces so your army is unique to you and you alone. I really like that aspect of it. Even if it is a pain in the neck to put them all togethor.

Yeah i've seen Warhammer in action, and it's cousin Warhammer 40,000, I didn't play it for too long but I feel the urge to try again. It's hard to find a shop though. It's worth it if you put a lot of time into it.

Its also a VERY expensive habit. I'm a Space Marines Fan personally. Specifically the Space Wolves chapter =D

So while I do not play, my brother does. That game stole his SOUL and our basement !!!! You should see it right now, took over and turned it into his own private war room. ^_^ He has two different boards that take up the two tables for the Fantasy and 40k stuff. It is realy interesting to listen to him go on and on about this stuff. I love the Sisters of Battle units.

But I really want out basement back!

i woudl get into it, but im just too scared to drop 200 bucks to play a game that no one around here plays...while i do like posing those things into battle scenes.

Aside from that, im a Chaos Space Marine fan...i know, it doesnt fit my peronage, but i like em. anywho, go CSM!

Hey Tobias have you looked for a Games Workshop or any rogue traders in your area? There are always games going on at the one by us nearly every weekend, so Tyler never finds a shortage of people to play. There is going to be a lot more once the summer campaign starts soon, though unfortunately its annother Warhammer Fantasy year instead of 40K.

naw, ive looked, and there are none in the nearby vacinity. the last miniatures tourny i was in was a Mageknight tourney at Carnage Con, which was a while back. It had its amazing memories, but aye...if only there was more to do around here.

Oh man, sorry to all those 40k lovers out there, but i'm soo sold on fantasy... it's all for a good reason though. I hate guns and the guns in fantasy are much more limited than in 40k. I love the orcs though, my wolf riders make me proud... all i have to do is finish glueing them togethor and painting all of them -_-

40k figures are more fun to paint for me, but the Fantasy world and history itself is pretty cool. Gotta love the Empire.

The summer campaign should be pretty interesting, some Orc invasion or something I think is what I remember hearing. The Storm of Chaos was awesome though!
