So yesterday I went with my girlfriend to the AIDS walk in Manhattan. The AIDS walk is a 10k walk benefitting AIDS research and such. Actually, my girlfriend was walking, and I promised her that if no one was going with her I would. I'm actually glad I did though. I felt really good afterward, and it was great to see so many people who felt so strongly about stopping something that had killed so many. I think I may do it for myself next year.
In the course of the day however, I managed to trip on the curb 3 times. Aside from making myself look like a complete ass, I think I really messed up my right foot. I had a bad right foot before, but when I woke up this morning, it hurt like it has never done before. I think the combination of tripping and walking so much yesterday wasn't very good, on top of having problems with that foot in the first place. I've been sorta limping around all day today, and if it keeps bothering me, I might go to the hospital to get an x-ray. I hope its nothing serious.
Anyway, I also learned that I've let myself go too much lately, and I need to seriously reduce my fat-assness. Walking 6 miles shouldn't have been an issue for me, but I really felt tired when I was done. It's time to go on a strict diet for Ming...
So after I was done with my girlfriend, I walked her back to Grand Central in the city, and I headed to 26th Street to meet up with Rev for a big Magic (the card game) tournament at the famous (sorta...) Neutral Ground. I played in 2 drafts and had my ass handed to me both times, but it was fun anyway. Afterwards, Rev and I headed to the Village to grab some dinner at this cool restaraunt called Dojo that I have become quite fond of. The food is pretty good, and it's REALLY cheap. Also, the service is lightning fast. It took 5 minutes for our food to come after we ordered it.
After dinner, Rev and I headed back up to Grand Central and grabbed a train back home. All in all, it was a day well spent, and I just thought I would share it with everyone.

You forgot the time back on the train, with INDIAN POKER! Yes, we played Indian Poker with, of all things, Magic cards. Yet without anything to bet, it was more a game of whose was bigger. |

It's amazing the card games you can play with CCGs. I don't know how many times I've played War with Magi-Nation cards.
