Ok, so not many people know this but I'm really not all into anime, save for exceptional ones like FullMetal Alchemist. However, I am really into games. Most notablly would be the Star Ocean and Tales Of [insert name] series.

The Tales of Eternia anime was great, allbeit short, based off of Tales of Destiny 2. But, I've been waiting forever for the anime based off of Star Ocean 2, named Star Ocean EX, to come out. Originally it was released in Japan, then somewhere else, and it's taken til now to get it translated to English.

The anime follows the game's storyline, which is usually bad. However, Star Ocean 2's storyline was one of the best game storylines I have seen. It may not have been far up there in terms of uniqueness, but the delivery is great. Before I start rambling about the game, has anyone seen this anime? I saw it at the store and literally squealed...which is something I generally don't do in public because a dressed-in-all-black, big guy squealling is just creepy.

I want to try to get feedback before I devote money into this.

yeah, I remember downloading the fansubs about a year ago. Never got all of them, but I LOVED the game, and the series was pretty good.

I've seen the anime!! *bounces* I have all the subs in CDRW thingies...=3 I think it was done /very/ well! I havent played much of the game, but I have a feeling it's super close, and they did a good job of turning a game into anime. =3 Azzy, go buy it!!
Also, where did you see it for sale? *hopes for Suncoast so she can send her fiance out to buy it for her*
Oh dear...you've got me all excited.

I got to watch it at Sakura Con and get my fiance to watch it too, he thought it seemed really great. It doesn't seem like his type of anime, either!
