Wonderfalls

Now...one of my very good friends turned me onto this series last weekend. It's a show that was canceled after one season on fox (because the people at fox are idiots who cancel all their good shows) but the fan base was dedicated enough to demand that it be pu on DvD.
That's how I saw it.
Wonderfalls is about a fairly intelligent female of 24 who has graduated from Brown but works retail at a souvenier shop in niagra falls. The general gist of the show is that inanimate objects start talking to her and making her do crazy things which always end up helping others. It also seemingly makes her life more difficult. all I can say is that the series has a pretty decent ending and I wish they had been able to continue the show. I definatly suggest it to anyone...I actualy became addicted and watched it all in one night....that was fun^.^

another fun tidbit of info is that the main actress grew up speaking french and speaks english fluently in the show without an accent...that I admire^.^

I absolutely LOVE this show. I watched it when it was actually on the air and was heart-broken when they pulled it after only a few episodes. I've seen the rest when they finally released them on DVD, but I'm still kinda bitter that they pulled it.

And, yeah... maybe I have a little crush on Caroline Dhavernas.

I searched long and hard for the theme song... finally got it... and listen to it often. Very Happy

My favorite character is probably the brother...to me he is both funny and attractive which makes him easy to like.

I wish I had seen it on the air but I'm glad my friend introduced me^.^

Do you know if they wrote the theme song specifically for the show...seems like it. where did you find it?

See, I like Jaye for the same reasons... Wink

Oddly enough, the Fox execs said that Jaye wasn't a "likeable" character because she was so snotty. Boo says I.

I guess the song was written specificially for the show. For the teasers prior to it being aired they were using one specific song... for the life of me, can't remember what it was... but it was a pre-existing one. This theme came out when it aired.

Drove me nuts trying to find this. I've been told that it's never been "officially" released... save Fox's exclusive release on iTunes. It's not on iTunes anymore, so this is really the only way that I guess you can get it. Ah, did I mention that it's the full 3 min + version? Eh heh... nice.

I'm all pumped that someone else likes this show. I have the hardest time telling people about it because nobody remembers it. And then when they hear that it was only on for a handful of episodes they're all like... riiiight... and you want me to watch this? *cocks eyebrow*

yeah..the friend who intorduced me to wonderfalls is as excited as me about finding another person who likes the show...

I wish fox would put it back on...I was thinking maybe they'lkl do like firefly and make a movie and if its popular then they'll put the show back on the air.,...but the likelyhood of that?....
