F***ing group project!!!

Alright. I'm REALLY pissed now. For those of you the closest to me, you'll know that my tagline should be "Does not work well with others". I f**king HATE group projects, and yet every damn business class I take has to incorporate one because they all have this working in teams bullshit so far up their asses. So I've done 2 of them already this semester, and thankfully, they have gone fairly well because they've been with people who are genuinely interested in helping and contributing. But, as always, there has to be one with a group of f**king incompetents who just don't give a shit. Maybe it's my fault. I don't really know anyone, so I end up working with whoever the hell is sitting near me, which sucks because I'm a magnet for assholes.

So my project for my E-marketing class (which should be great because it's a class on freakin E-MARKETING), is with two freakin idiots. TWICE now, I've driven my ass all the way to school from Connecticut (45 minutes) so that we could meet up and work on this project, and the two asshats haven't shown, or at least freakin called. One even had the nerve to tell me the following week that he didn't show up because the meeting we were supposed to have the previous week was on "4/20". Are you FUCKING KIDDING ME!? At least call me so I don't have to drag myself all the way down to the shit-hole Bronx.

Now, we finally meet up, and he tells me that the other kid (who's a football player and thus a waste of space) called him and said that his uncle died or something and he probably won't be able to help with the project that's due in 2 FUCKING DAYS. You know what, I understand if a family member died, but that's no excuse for doing JACK SHIT for a freakin month, THEN backing out. I would be a lot more understanding if he actually *did* something, and then something like this happened. I don't mind picking up the extra slack of presenting his stuff for a few more minutes.

And on top of ALL of this BS...the topic that we have is nigh-goddamn-impossible to find any information on...and like I said, the project is due in TWO DAYS. So, again, I drag myself all the way down here to do absolutely fucking nothing, because there's nothing we can do at this point until I hear back from my professor, whom I e-mailed about 10 minutes ago with a plea to help us out. I think I'm just going to do this thing by myself, because at least I know if I get a shit grade, it's my own shit grade, and not an A that got brought down by a group of idiots.

But rest assured, these two group members of mine are gonna get crucified when peer-evaluation time comes...

i feel your pain, and if i were in your shoes i'd just do the whole thing myself. just make sure the professor understands who did all the work. i had a big important group project this semester, and one of the girls in the group did jack shit, didn't even know what the project was about (even though we had to present it in front of the whole psychology department), and during the time we were writing our powerpoint presentation, she had the balls to sit and cross-stitch and FALL ASLEEP. in our peer evaluations, we tore her a new one.

Interestingly enough, I present this thing on Wednesday night, which is my very last class of the semester. I still have 4 finals to go through, but with all the crap that I've had to go through this semester, I'm actually looking forward to taking them. It's going to be a welcomed break to having to do projects. I would so much rather just study, then have everything over in 2 hours.
