Angel Academy

Well, I figure I may as well post the first little bit here, see what people think, 'cause I'm curious ^_^ This is my story, Angel Academy. You can find it, more information, and all my character profiles on my web page, too =3
Fifteen years ago, a group of warriors, healers, and magicians clashed together in a battle, good versus evil, to determine the fate of the world. Would Chaos reign, or would the pure of heart triumph? After months of long, exhausting battle, those who had only the most faith in the world pulled one last attack together and found victory of the corrupted ones...As the final attack was dealt, a brilliant light bathed the world, renewing the life that was lost in the battle, renewing the planet itself. When the light faded, not one person had any recolection of the fated battle they had just taken part in. Life went on as if nothing had ever happened.


Now, the Angel Academy has been created. Some how...the Destined have found themselves all at the Academy, either teaching, or as a student. This is the story of the first group of students to attend the school as they enter their final year at the Academy. What will be in store for them in the most difficult year after school? What will happen when they graduate? Follow them now, in their pursuit of their hopes, and of their dreams.


A few birds chirped their goodmornings to the new day as the sun peeked over the hilltops. The night's cold shadows dissipating in the warm morning glow, the perfect start to a beautiful day, that is, until the alarm clock began shrieking it's angry cries, flushing the birds from their cozy perch.


"Nooo..." The young man moaned as he grogily assaulted the clock with his pillow. "Gyaaahh" he fumed as he rolled from his bed onto the floor, searching sleepily for the clock wich refused to be silent. He fiddled with the buttons for a second or two and the alarm fell silent, the only sound was his frustrated pants. Today was the first day of school but, more importantly to him, it was the end of sleeping in past 6 A.M. "I am so ready to graduate... this'll be the last year I gotta do this, I think I can make it..."


Not too far down the street, another soon-to-be graduate was rolling out of bed, only with a little more enthusiasm. The cheery blonde, Miyaka stretched with a loud yawn under the warmth of her sheets.


"Myahh...what a wonderful morning!" She smiled happily, peering through the window next to her bed, the sunshine cascading over her bed and onto her wooden bedroom floor. She swung her feet over the edge of her bed, practically launching herself towards her bathroom, her night shirt and shorts tossed aside as she lept into the shower.


As a jet of warm water ran over her, Miyaka sighed happily. "Another year of school...new classes, new things to learn. I get to see all of my friends again, too! We're finally graduating...We've all worked so hard for this.." She reached for the soap, to cover herself in suds, "It's a little scary though...What are we going to do after that? I want to save the world...but I don't know where to start. I don't want to have to say goodbye to my friends either..." Miyaka sighed, a little waver in her breath, as she stepped out of the shower. "I'll just have to work harder for everything!" She smiled widely as she pulled on her uniform, a renewed sense of ambition.
