"I feel that if he plays or not, we definitely have a chance of making it to the Super Bowl and winning it," McNabb said Wednesday, one day after owner Jeffery Lurie said the team won't redo Owens' contract. That’s what Eagles star quarterback Donavan McNabb said Wednesday after hearing that his crutch….errrr I mean Wide Receiver Terrell Owens was having contract problems with the Eagles. Terrell says “I am one of the top players in the game and my contract doesn’t show that.” So now just one year into his contract he wants more money….*shocking*. Jeffery Lurie has told Owens that this isn’t even an issue (yeah right) he said no more money he means no more money and you had better stop whining or else they are turning this car around and going home. Seriously though first off Lurie when your star WR says he will sit if he doesn’t get more money THAT IS AN ISSUE. Either you face it now or you face it five games into your season and let me give you a little advice you had better have TO back in good sprits by opening day because your first game is against the Atlanta Falcons and we are looking for payback. So put your ego in check and get your wallet out. I mean how can you say that If TO wants to get to the Super Bowl he had better be an Eagle. You’re acting like TO was just some Ham and Egger before he become an Eagle. You know I did hear about him before he become an Eagle and where was the Eagles before TO losing three championship games in a row on the outside looking in. In fact the only reason you got in lat year was because nobody is lame enough to blow the exact same game four years in a row. So go back to watching “American Idol” and stop trying to act like you’re the big man. As for you McNabb, don’t going fooling yourself either. It doesn’t matter how good you are by yourself because you can not throw to yourself. You know I believe I remember hearing this last year but it wasn’t in the NFL it was in the NBA. It was a certain man by the name of Kobe saying it. I don’t need Shaq...I don’t need Jackson....THIS IS KOBE’S TEAM! Well Kobe’s team didn’t even make it to the playoffs. In fact with a record of 34 - 48. Kobe’s team didn’t even break .500. So McNabb shut up, put your Super Bowl problems behind you two and make up and then maybe you guys can win. Well before the Falcons kick you guys butts anyways. As for you Lurie owners (unless they are cool like Arthur Blank) are like children to be seen...not heard. So know your role and shut your mouth and sign the checks , Jamboni.
