Take a look at the current Newtype (with Shinji from Eva on it). Then go look at the ACEN picture gallery section. Then look for the goateed beer drinkin' Shino clear cutly in the background with the PO board nearby.

no, no beating to pulp.. *too tired* lol
but anyhoo, newtype is a magazine published in japan with all the latest info on anime and manga related news. it has insights into conventions, animation studios, spots on artists and voice actors, talks about music, games and just basically anything cool in the realm of pop anime culture there. newtype USA is the release for america. it translates some of the same articles released in the japanese issue but mainly does its own but it follows the same infrastructure that i mentioned above except it focuses on america's interests in current pop anime culture.
you probably already got you answer a while ago but i just wanted to make sure you weren't left ahangin.
