He was one of the great entertainers of my generation and has my respect, may he rest in peace. One of his GREATEST accomplishments ( at least to me ) was that he did the Military shows for the overseas troops. I was in the army and deployed to Somalia and never did get to see one of his shows, but during Desert Storm and the more recent upheavals, he made a point to do the shows and support my fellow soldiers. He will be missed, but let's not be sad. After all, he truly wanted to make everyone laugh!  |

I never really knew or heard much about him but I still feel the loss of him somehow. I think that he will be missed by all, even those that have only but heard of him.

Bob Hope dead I had heard it on the news, but it's doesn't really seem real untill you start seeing it talked about by people. Oh man now I'm begining to feel bummed. |

Although I haven't actually seen much of Bob Hope, I know about his comedy and his military shows. I think his character and his humor will both live on for quite a while. |
