I don't know why I feel the need to share this, but I'm sooo excited about it. I was at Borders the other day, and I picked up a copy of the complete works of Shakespeare, hard-covered, for only $7.99! Is that a bargain or what!? |

Its the Collins edition. Apparently, this version was used by the BBC as the basis for its televised cycle of Shakespeare plays. Pretty cool to know.
I don't even know if I'll read the thing in its entirety, but I do like Shakespeare, and as me and Rev were discussing in Borders, this is something that everyone should have a copy of. Who knows when you may want to quote Shakespeare, or when it comes up, especially for me, being in college and all. |

Good enough. Definitely a steal dor you. Every now and then those sorts of things happen when a bookstore needs to move a little stock or is having a sale (often the Buy 4, get 5th free type)... either way, good job! |

I'm afraid you may underestimate my bibliophilia. A complete works of Shakespeare is definitely something worth having, and at under $10 that's a beautiful thing. Might I suggest as a companion a book called "Naughty Shakespeare" by Michael Macrone? |

i work in a discount bookstore in england called the works, we dont just sell boks, we sell alot of kids actitvities and art stuf, an some of the art stuff is 1/6 of the price most art stores sell it for. as are most of the books, this is mainly coz its other shops left over stock, then our company buys it for a fraction of the price and sell iot on for bargain prices, so if i go back to art college im going to get my stuff from work, especially seein as i get a 20% discount:D |
