So on Saturday, I take my son to Stone Mountain Park in Georgia. It's about 9:45 pm and we are well into the laser light show. For those of you who have never been there, the laser show takes place on a sheer part of the stone mountain that contains a huge carving. It's kinda like lots of music videos using lasers and fireworks. And all of this takes place outdoors on a lawn setting, so you can imagine how packed it can get.
Well, Saturday was really packed and all of a sudden my newly-potty trained three year old comes up and announces he has to pee. There is no way to get off the lawn as we are completely surrounded on all sides. I ask him if he can wait and he says yes.
Not two minutes later he is grabbing his crotch and is whining how he has to go to the bathroom. So i begin frantically searching the garbage bag next to me for an empty bottle. Yes, you can guess what happened next. Thus my son learned his new skill.
This was topped with my husband informing my son to remember said new skill as it will come in handly later in life on band trips! |

Yes, it does come in handy on band trips. What one does with it afterwards can be the subject of many debates (and sometimes criminal charges, as some of the residents of my hometown found out after tossing it at people.) |
