In case u guys havent heard, since most of you didnt get affected by this: Most of the North East united states got hit with a strange freak massive power failiure. It affected from as far north as ontario, to as far south as New Jersey, and as far west as Detroit.
Anywho, my power came back, and silly enough, most other towns havent gotten back their power...so i guess im lucky

Yeah, apparently, the North East power grid shut down for some reason or another. New York city is still without power as we speak. Me and Tobs got affected as far east as Connecticut. This thing is REALLY strange, and I'm dying to hear what the cause of all this was.
I'm just happy I got power back... |

well ultrawolf, its the worlds largest blackout ever, so shaddup. my power came back on at around 11, just in time to watch Jason X before i go see Freddy vs Jason tomorrow (hopefully with the girl of my dreams) yeah. we were driving home from the hospital (my dad almost broke his ankle today) and when we were in the middle of the road the lights flickered and went off. weird. |

again boohoo so you had one blackout, obviously you ahve some power now. i mean you dont see me complaining when i get a black out (had 2-3 so far this week). now im not trying to be mean becuz it is a serious issue (hospitols etc need power). also why in the hell were you watching jason X of your own free will (im assuming this). although i am seeing f vs. j tommorrow (hopefuly) |

Slowly, at the moment, places are having their power restored. Officially, the cause was beleived to be a lightning strike on the Niagra power grid. Since it went down, the rest could not handle the load and so they went down as well. I just had power restord about an hour ago, so things are slowly being set to rights. |

According to the radio this morning, they speculate that the cause may have been something in Ohio. Who the hell knows, all I know is that the US is starting to blame Canada, and Canada is starting to blame us. The finger pointing has begun my friends. The important thing is that people are slowly starting to get their power back.
And Ultrawolf...I LOVE blackouts. I think its so cool when all the power goes out and stuff, as long as it doesn't happen ALL the time. It's fun to play in the dark. |
