It's always an interest to see how media is spread across cultures. It can be said that Japan sure loves them there Hollywodd movies

They sure do. And going to the movies there is quite a drastic difference from going to the movies in Florida. I caught LOTR: Two Towers when I was there and it was interesting to say the least.

Also, I'm surprised at how quickly some of those films made it over there. It used to take around 6 months for them to cross the pond. Perhaps the film industry is getting desperate for revenue?

I'm surprised that Memoirs of a Geisha is #4. Then again, Japan did love Metal of Honor: Rising Sun. X)! Damn nation of masochists.

Well with the newer generations the people of many countries will always make those changes that learn to let the past be the past. Though you'll always have people who get angry or offended by it no matter where you go.
