An ode to my umbrella - >_>

A couple days of heavy rain days made me realize just how much I appreciate my umbrella. So, I want to take a moment to thank my umbrella, and all the other hard working umbrellas out there ... for keeping us dry and protecting us from that nasty 'ol rain!

I bought you in Altanta, at the Warner Brothers store.
We had our first lunch togther at Hooters and I thought "Now this is a nice restaurant, not at all a bore."
London, Hong Kong, LA ... we've traveled far and wide.
Years of dedicated service and you've always complied.
I want to thank you, oh trusted friend.
For even in strong winds you never bend.
Nicks, scratches ... though you are battle weary.
When your beak broke off, it made me teary.
To you, my umbrella, I dedicate this poem.
When the rain falls I hope you always open.

I never use an Umbrella in the rain myself..One cause I like bein wet..And two we sledom get rain in AZ that isn't accompanied by 20 + mile an hour winds. Think we got 56 MPH one time...That's when EVERY fence in the neighborhood blew down.

i like walking in the rain, i like feeling it fall on my head and run thru my hair ( when its not a fluffball, i.e. when ive put shtuff in it to stop it being a fluffball) an i love the sound of rain, especially on tent canvas, although it does make me need the loo:p

I don't even remember the last time I've used an umbrella...I just usually end up walking or running in the rain to get where I need to go.

There have been numerous times when I've gotten out of school just as it was raining and had to walk. Of course I wouldn't think of taking one with me, let alone using it, cause everyone would laugh at me. Laughing

i just walk around in the rain without anything to cover my head it makes my hair look all goofy which is pretty funny. i somehow end up with a wolverine-ish type hairdo in the rain
