This is all about real service...tell me the time when you've went to a store, restraunt, whatever and you recieved honest to god good service above and beyond....

Here's mine

Kiyomi and I got into that car accident and we turned our truck into the body shop. They not only fixed it...but did a complete in and out cleaning of it....now here comes the service part.

I payed my deductible and was wowed by the shine inside and out when I got in...I looked up at my mirror and realized they actually took the two seconds to clean off my Chi keychain from my mirror...wow!!!

True service, eh?
Well, how about this:
I have a friend who is training/trained to be a professional chef. His final project was to create a six course gourmet meal at the school's restaurant, and I was one of the people that he invited to try it. It was quite awesome, and the service was excellent.
That auto-shop sounds pretty cool, though! That's the kind of place that inspires return customers!

I used to work at a body shop like that and I used to be the guy who did the cleaning.
as for running into real service it has been far to long for me.

LOL. On the other hand, the rest of the Ford shop sucks. We took the truck in, under warranty, because the remote starter was not working, there was a knocking sound, and there was a squeeking sound. We also asked for an oil change. They did not do the oil change at all. They could not hear the sounds (even though the knocking on is there every time we start the car, so there is no way a normal, intelligent person with ears that work could miss it), and the remote starter still does not work right!

I had a girl at a store do that! It was awesome! I was buying an outfit for myself (well, mostly for Excel, tee hee), and she was helping me find things that would work well with it. Excel certainly approved when I showed it to him! Very Happy

i had really great service when i went on my birthday to get my sunglasses. I walked into the sunglass hut, and the woman there was like: "Meh...they arent cheaper than 150."

So we went into solstice, which was right down the corridor (this was in a mall) and the guy there was like: "Hey...i bet ya i can find you what your looking for, and for cheaper!" and he did! He was very friendly, he helped me find my awesome sunglasses, which i love all so very much.

Aside from service, though, where i work (Barnes and Nobles) they have really really good service, and they always are very helpful. Everyone is nice also, which makes the work environment great!

Infiniti of Roswell has always given us great service. My dad's car has needed replacement parts several times (It's still under warrantee too). They have always had it back to us within a few days. Not to mention that they have given us the nicest loaner cars to use while our car's in the shop.

And the Steak 'n' Shake on Northside Pkwy. in Buckhead was amazing Saturday. My entire drama club went there for lunch. It was incredibly busy, but we were still seated within a few minutes, and the waitress was very patient and efficient (even when we all needed separate checks). Needless to say she got a huge tip and our eternal gratitude.

Another one is our massage therapist. She is AWESOME! She is the only thing I will miss when we leave this terrible state. She even is putting out my cards for my website business, and she gives us a discount because we refer her.

I work in retail, since I am still in college, and would like to think I give that little bit extra to customers a good deal of the time. Although, anytime you have to move more than 300 pounds worth of furniture on your own to get whatever it is the customer wants, and they complain about how long it took, they don't deserve it, but that is besides the point.
