I <3 megatokyo.
Actually, can you imagine what kind of kick ass immersive experince that would give FPS games? 299$ isnt even really that bad of a price, considering its a TV set. Hell, I want one >_<. If only you could split up a four player split screen, it would be the best thing ever. |

I don't know. I love games but if I could have something jacked directly into my brain it'd probably be porn
Now, now, you were all thinking the same thing but didn't have the guts to say it. At least have the guts to admit it. |

Ooooh! That's a good idea, Razer. Hadn't thought of it that way. But I would still use it a lot for games.
Dai, yeah I know what you mean. I would totally be willing to have 4 TVs just to split up the screens. It's so hard to follow a split screen. |

One problem with the eyes closed thing, even if your eyes are closed, using them to play games still will not allow them to relax, and voila, eye strain anyways. As for pictures being sent directly to the brain, the device would have to be able to flip the picture upside down to understand it properly. So, unless it had some pretty hefty video software in it as well, the games would have to be designed to be able to use it. |

But at least your eyes would not be dry. That is my biggest problem. They get too dry and then they want to close. |

Hey, they already use OnStar in cars, so if you think about it they can track you where ever you go. They had a tracking device in breast implants. They microchip felons. So there is already a ton of control happening. If they are going to control us, at least give us video games!
Seriously, though, it is pretty scary just how easily a person can be tracked now. We have numbers all over the place (social security, credit card, checking account, job ID numbers, driver's license numbers, license plate numbers, etc.), with the right equipment people can track us anywhere if we have any of several different technologies (like OnStar). |
