Thats a bummer, I had a ingrown toanail once it sucked. I didn't go to the doc though, I just dug it out with a sharp knife lol |

Well, I considered that, but unfortunately my problems have come with infections as well, so I'd rather just leave it to the doctor to fix. |

And infections are not things you want to take lightly. Infections can damage you big time. For that reason alone I'd go to a doctor before trying it myself.

God I know how you guys feel. Same thing happened several years ago. Don't remember it taking 5 months to get back to normal though. So far you're far luckier than me. When I had mine cut off I had to start aplying some kinda dysinfectant to the toe. You have no idea the kind of pain that caused. >_< |
