Well I'm looking around in GT4 and it seems that... yet again... they leave out the newest generation of the Eclpise.
MY CAR, THEY ARE LEAVING OUT MY CAR! AGAIN.

Why?
Probably b/c the newest Generation of the Eclipse is actually an American car. You can not get the 3G Eclipse in Japan unless imported. It us made by Mitsubishi Motors of America.
So, because of this, they aren't including it in the game. BASTARDS!
What the hell.. .you put "Acura" under the American Flag but you can't include the Eclipse. The most popular car in it's class!

What!? And is it me or, they have volks in there, and other non-japanese cars ... what is wrong with american cars? They aren't my personnal favorites, but still, even if some cars are ''american-only'' don't they deserve to be into such a game as GT4, especially when we're talking about such an ''Ooooo sooooo AAAWEEESOOMEE'' car as your Mitsubishi Eclipse! 
I mean ... we're not talking need4speed here, we're talking GT4 here, GT4!!! Like, shouldn't that game have all the cars man ever made!? Or are they saving that up for GT5? (wow, model T races, the anticipation I tell ya! :p) |

Its heavy, not a very popluar car....sorry. I wouldnt mind to have one, they ahve SUVS in it this time. Im glad they are bringing back my car finally!!! I dont beleive they have ever had an ecipse in any GT game. They look nice but dont perform well |

o btw, they have tons and tons of muscle american cars this time around. The most cars they ahve now are european. About twice the amount of any other cars |

Ok cool ... so ... is there gonna be a GT5 with all the cars mankind ever made? I really wish  ... maybe I'll have to wait till GT9 tho ... it'S not like it's gonna happen soon  |

Actually all Eclipses are originally USDM. 1G and 2Gs are designed by Chrysler powered by Mitsu. Nowhere near the popularity in Japan as the are here. Also I think all Japan got of the Eclipses was the 2G, I dont beleive the 1Gs were sold outside of the US and certain parts of Europe as all the 1Gs I've ever seen are LHD and none are RHD. So the 1G DSMs are also getting left out of GT4 as well so dont feel bad. |

I agree.. Though the Eclipse is a neat car. It does not have the performance nor the handling for an GT Apex type of game. The first game I have seen that has your car shino is SRS racing. Though even in that game the car is heavy and a pain to turn. I think Chrysler and Mitsu screwed up when they allowed that car to be front wheel drive. If it was a RWD car it probably would have been in a lot of games (ex.. Supra) But the fact that it is FWD and has never been in Rally or MotoCross will not allow it to be in to many Racing Simulation Games. Your Car is stuck to the Ricer Games dood. Then again. There is no game that features my car?!. |

No whats messed upo is usually when the Eclipse makes an apperance in a game its the 2G GS-T why never any GSXs  \

Man I don't know what cars you guys have been driving...
The 3G performs as well as any of the cars in it's class.
And it handles the skid pad just as well too... .85G or something like that.
Sasuke, The first 2 gens of the eclipse have been in the GT series.
and they perform very well. I've taken people driving stuff as nice as a BMW 330 and taken them. Lexus IS300... yeah I took him too. Prelude Type SH, Celica GT-S. The car that actually stood up the best.. Acura RSX. I see nothing wrong with 0-60 in 7 sec.
