Does anyone know the exact or close to exact date that Devil May Cry 2 will be coming out? I ask because devil may cry was by far one of the best horror games ever made (mainly because u have a big sword) |

I loved Devil May Cry too, but if anything I don't think it was a "horror" game per se ;3 The fact that you can sling guns and swing a sword faster than a seagull can shit makes it a little less terrifying than somthing like Silent Hill <^^> |

If anyone's interested, all the Funcolands, Gamestop's and Software Etc. are running a special right now....trade in any TWO ps2, xbox, or gamecube games (except for old sports and wrestling games) and get Devil May Cry 2 for $9.99 with reservation. In other words 2 crappy games traded in = $40 store credit as long as it goes toward a DMC2 reserve. I believe this deal is only going on until the game comes out, but I could be wrong. What can I say? Gamestop higher-ups are dumb. |

DMC2 will be amazing. The first one was great, so I don't expect anything less from the second. And I think you would consider DMC a horror game. I'll admit it's not as "horror" as something like Silent Hill or Resident Evil, but that's because it's a bit more of a faster paced game. It's sorta goth horror, which makes it even cooler.

to me, its horror, mainly because its done somewhat RE style, with somewhat fixed camera angles.
And i dont think anything can go faster than a shitting seagull

Well, guys, I was just saying what Capcom said the genre was <^^> Never said ya had to agree
And yes, it did have those elements of gothic horror stuffs, but at its roots it's still an action/adventure title along with games like Onimusha and Castlevania  |

I think i see ur point, for it is alot like castlevania and onimusha, whereas it includes close range fighting.
