Stress and school! AHHHHHHHH

OH my gosh! THis is freakin crazy! No matter when I do I can't get away from school related stress!! Tomorrow is the last day of classes and I have a freakin quiz!! Honestly, who the hell gives a quiz on the last day of class!! BASTARD!
For those who have felt the rath of my stress know that i've been battling it for a couple of weeks. It's just that EVERYTHING is due the same week and on top of that we have finals next week!!! AHHHHH. I don't know how i'm going to get through this and next week!
I only have 3 finals, but one is going to be hard as anything. The class is called Biological Psychology and it's all about the Brain and we have to know absolutely EVERYTHING about it!! Ever little wrinkle and what it does!!! I just want to bury myself! This is absolutely INSANE!
I'm dealing with all this semi-well....I think...If you call eating chocolate, going to the gym, and crying handeling it semi-well...I'm going for a mani/pedi at a local SPA, hopefully that will relax me a little bit. It's just non stop school crap and I'm sick of it all!!!!!!!!!!

I can slighlty understand your stress. All my finals are within a three day period and I have six classes (Chem, Alg 2, English 2, World History, Programmig 1, and Band) and all the academic classes are honors. To add to that, because of the hurricanes that hit (I live in Central Florida) we are behind curriculum wise and need to have like two additional tests. I've also missed two school days and have needed to work to catch up and I have a concert tonight in Band. I think I know what you are going through so if you wish me luck, I'll wish you luck.

Excelly, I know what's that's like. Other than I only work part-time, but I had to take off work yesterday just to catch up on stuff and get sane again. It's awful!!!

I feel your pain, oh how I feel your pain. You see that....*points at a big puddle on the floor*....that was my brain. As I have been sitting here typing it dribbled out of my head.

I have had one paper after another paper after another paper...study....another paper....then an 8:00 am math final this morning....failed it....study for my Core test on Human Nature and the Social Order which the class title alone will tell you how boring this call has been...I had to memorize litterally everything about Machievelli Locke, Hobbes, Aristotle, Plato, Augustine, Aquinas, and Al Farabi and then write an 8 page front and back in class essay that took 3 hours. I have a paper due tomorrow which I have to make an A- on or my GPA this semester is doomed, and then an accounting final on Monday.

ya, ive got 3 finals. I managed to get out of a 4th one since my teacher said anyone with an A doesnt have to take the final, so that rocked. But aside from that,i have a project due tomorrow that my group finished just today, i have a final paper and 3 responses due for my english and philosophy class, and im staring down the barrel of 3 tough exams: Stat (which really isnt that tough), Philosophy (which is my forté) and Religious studies (Which is scaring hte crap out of me),

Ow. I guess I get off light, then, with one major exam, one other exam, papers that are done, and my thesis, which I still have all of next semester to work upon.

But that's not to say I haven't felt the squeeze... just for me, it was midterms rather than the finals. Good luck in keeping sufficient sanity to finish.

I am almost done with finals now. At the end of the week, I will have passed 1 of the four finals I took, about the same number as the classes I will have passed this semester.

But the Human Nature and the Social Order class sounds fun. I should see if our school has that, though I don't think it does.

Probably not. Human Nature and the Social Order is one of Oglethorpe's core classes. Basically we take these stupid classes that won't count anywhere except for Oglethorpe so that they make it a pain in the neck to transfer. We get out of taking the required courses that most other colleges make students take, but essentially it is the same as a political science class. The only difference between the Core program is that it is more focused on writting skills and philosophy and psychology than lets say Poli Sci 101.
