If Ninjas were hired to go on the sea and attack a pirate ship ... who would win?
I'm kinda curious. I mean, not that I want to destroy anything you said but ...
Ask a pirate to do a ninja's job, and ask the ninja to do a pirate job ... who would do better at it, and who would have the most chances of surviving if confronted with one an other in, say, situations where ''pirates would have to sneak into a building guarded by ninjas to get a relic'' or vice versa
I mean, it is ''ninja vs pirate'', now is it? Or am I just playing with words?

I think they main idea is that you're not supposed to think about it THAT much. I mean, if you do it completely invalidates everything because you can find contradictions for everything. In reality, there is no right answer to this argument. It's all opinion, and the point is to see who is more interesting when they voice theirs.
Or so it may seem... |

yea...the essay is not intended for thinking too much. In fact, it was going to be a joke, but i actually pooled together my resources and made an essay for my english teacher for an argumentative essay.
But as far as Ninjas and pirates switcing rolls...due to the fact that real historical ninjas very rarely succeeded in their tasks...and pirates plundered and succeded quite often...i thnk that due to success rate, Pirates have it in the bag, since htey seem to do everything right

Thank you, Shan. What're these red flecks in the burger and cheese? Flavor, you say, well, okay...

The only time we know about Ninjas failing is because the failed and we learned about them. A sucessful ninja would not be found out about and therefore we don't really know the true scuess rate of Ninja attacks.
Likewise, we keep hearing about alot of sucessful pirates, but I am sure that if you looked up the British court records in the carribean, you'd find an insurmountable number of pirates that were captured and killed. |

i think all one would need to find out for the answer for your question would be the successful assasination accounts that ninjas executed. If out of 10 people set up for assassination, only 9 people got assassinated, hten the ninjas would be boasting a 10% success rate. Sure, the one guy did it successfully, but everyone would know about it, much like veryone would know if a pirate wasn't successful due to the amount of hook hands and peg legs the captain of a naval vessel would have.
And yes, you probably would find lots of pirates that were captured, but the charisma and effect of the Pirate makes the pirate a very focused and powerful figure. When Ninjas were killed, they were just...well...killed, or that is at least what ive found in my knowledge. That, and Ninjas tended to commit Seppuku, much like a samarui, due to the same code of honor they held, so they never fought till they were killed...they fought till they didnt think they could win, then killed themselves
