I just watched the trailer and I'm about to wet my pants. Seriously, even if you don't like the comic you will definitely appreciate the cinematography on this one.

So wait, are they doing the three different stories that the movie seems to be based on? Or are they going to do that wonderfully bastich thing and throw them into a blender to mush them up together? |

Looks great but I'm trying to figure out why they put the names in Alphabetical order thus giving Elijah Wood and Bruce Willis non-top billing. |

HOLY CRAP
I've never even heard of this, but I'm DEFINITELY there. THIS is my kinda movie. You say it's based off of a comic? I'm defintely gonna go read that one...
And the cast is pretty sweet too. Lots of big names, complete with Robert Rodriguez (El Mariachi, Desperado, Once Upon a Time in Mexico) directing. I think we have ourselves a winner.... |

Gaaz, I think it's because there are so many big recognizable names in it.
I'm just amazed they have Mickey rourke AND Bruce Willis in it. Always thought they were the same person only that Bruce Willis uses the name Mickey Rourke to make bad movies.  (after Hudson Hawk that is - he just forgot). |

No worries on this one. Hollywood is NOT going to screw this one up. So rest easy, heh. They're doing 3 stories. Marv's story (which Frank Miller has named, I just can't remember it now... "The Long Goodbye"? Something like that), The Big Fat Kill, and That Yellow Bastard. Robert Rodriguez brought in Frank Miller to be co-director on the promise that he would make a perfect panel per panel transfer of the movie and do it justice. When the director's guild told Rodriguez that he couldn't have 2 directors on a film, he QUIT! How badass is that?
At San Diego Comic-Con, Rodriguez says they actually walked around the set with the graphic novels to make sure everyone was standing the right way, saying the right stuff, etc. |
