Single thing I hate the most!

As much as I have been enjoying WoW, they did one of the single things I hate the most that an MMORPG can do. They automatically prevent me from using Godwyn because of the first 3 letters. I understand that they are trying to prevent people from creating names that will offend others, but still. I have had a Battle.net account, which is run by Blizzard, with the same name for 6 or 7 years. Yes, I did check to make sure it just wasn't that someone else already has the name, I have tried every server and many variations, as long as the first 3 letters are the same, it won't accept it. This would go over better with me if I didn't see blatantly offensive names running about all the time, alright, it still wouldn't go over with me that well but anyways.

If they so want to make games not offencive to anyone, they should just not make them multiplayer compatible. <_<

the way to get rid of those with offensive names that you see running around is report those names to a GM, they will take care of it, most likely someone reported you if it was a name you have actually played with.

example: my first week of playing I met a nice person. Thier SN was Cannabis which I thought he was gonna be some lame teen but he ended up being pretty cool and helpful and actually spelled out words...but someone reported his name after over a month of playing and they changed him to rumplesomthing or other, something wierd lol

Yeah, the name policy is a little rediculous. I remember this one girl off an RP server had her name changed from Tuesday to something stupid like Omnis. They go way to overboard with it. I mean I can understand some jerks running around with names like "1337dude" or stupid names like that, but it's like the only way you can get a name they won't change anymore is to use their own randomization button.
