my school is the devil incarnate

this morning i discovered that my bathroom needed to be restocked with toilet paper, so i went into the hallway and grabbed a bunch of rolls, thinking it would be just the same old generic scratchy crap my college always supplies for the dorms.
so i opened a roll and went to put it in the tp dispenser thing (whatever it's called), but thought to myself "something is amiss here." as i was exiting the bathroom, i realized that toilet paper in general is not usually as translucent as that roll was, so i went back into the bathroom and, after some further investigation, confirmed my worst fear that yes, that roll of toilet paper is friggin' one ply.
i thought that it must have been some mistake. the stars fell out of alignment for just a moment, producing this freak of nature defective one ply roll. with fear in my eyes and a heavy heart, i unwrapped another roll, convinced that all the rest of the rolls just had to be normal and two ply. i was wrong.
my ass will never be the same, thanks to my damn cheap university. any soft cottony tp donations or pictures of you all laughing at my misery can be mailed to:

my roommate, dixie, would like to add as well that our school never has ranch dressing and that she has to wait 10 minutes in the cafeteria for new french toast to come out.

Dude, your school really needs to do some investment changes and really needs to begin to analyse their TP usage...maybe you shoudl take a poll and take it up with the school board or something. That'll kick em in the balls

Ok, not to be the voice of dissent...BUT...

If the TP is only one ply, then why not just use two pieces and make it two-ply. I mean, it's not like your paying for it, so just start using twice as much to compensate for the school's cheapness. I mean, if you got enough people to start doing it, then maybe they'll get the message.

I would say something about your roommates ranch dressing situation...but I don't want to get started on ranch dressing...

Man that is rough. I can at least thank the Light that Oglethorpe has 2 ply paper....when they remember to leave some in the bathroom for us.

Yeah so we also have this ice cream machine that in the year and a half that I've been here has never once been turned on.

Salary has my vote. I'll bet college professors get way more than public school teachers. Although, now that I think about it, that's not really saying much <_<

they can't give us decent toilet paper, but they can spend the money to replant all the flowers on campus about five times every semester. no kidding, at the beginning of DECEMBER they tore up all the pansies and bushes and replanted them. i used to think that was funny, but now that they're depriving us of tp, i ain't laughin'
on the bright side, only 6 weeks 'til spring break



btw k_chan, i'd rather be tp deprived than ice cream deprived. my sympathies go out to you the rest of your fellow oglethorpe students
