Why is it okay to flame someplaces, and then brag about it, but not in others?

I'm not someone to flame someone else.

But I will Defend someone who is flamed without provoking it in anyway.

for instance in this case, the people flamed were someone who was pointing out that a part of the psp was not talked about much. He got flamed... no reason.

Then i got flamed by the guy b/c he appearently either didn't use his common sense to get what I was saying, or he just felt like flameing someone.

I will always defend my self and others. I will not, however, start a flame war.

Example...
I can fight, but that doesn't mean I'm going to look for a fight, but if I need to defend myself or someone else, I will.

LOL. Ah, I hate flamers.

There was some idiot in a rabbit group I belong to who was CONVINCED she was the all-knowing being when it came to genetics. She went off on a total tangent, and when someone corrected her in a completely acceptable and nice way, she started yelling at that person. Then someone else corrected her, and you guessed it, more yelling and amentia. Not only did she have one genetic thing wrong, but then she went on a different tangent about how the genes of another colour were different than they really were. She would not listen to anyone, nor would she take our advice and look up genetic websites or books. Of course, I really didn't expect her to. The stupidest part was when someone responded to her and said, "Shawna" (addressing her), she replied by saying "Who the %@$# is Shawna?". Now that might not be odd except that her email name said "Shawna," so if she was no Shawna, she obviously knew who Shawna was. One more reason I hate people.

Yea...like I said before. Some people are just narrow minded idiots. No matter what you tell them they won't listen or won't believe it. *shrug* I'm not one for starting the flaming but if someone says something directed at me I can tend to get hostile.
