not that i know of, but MMORPG's dont seem to be that big over here, hardly ever see them on the shelves of Game or GameStation. But got a friend at a indipendant retailer (hes the manager) who'll usually knock around £10 off the pprice of a new game (when my daughter was born he sold me Transformers for £15 rather than £35 and when it was my birthday he gave me Goldeneye for N64) |

Nope, UK is STILL waiting for WoW, apparently its out in feb, Im hoping, cause then ic an play that instead of the piece of toot they call EQ2 >=( |

And when they release it in the UK they won't be using the American servers for hubs. They'll have their own hardware to link up to that allows them into our 88 American servers.
Korea though I think is going to patch into American servers directly...Which I'm against..But that's a year off so who knows...The American servers may be strong enough to handle it. |

strange, makes no sense at all, for a start language barriers wont be a problem would make alot more MMORPG fans play it also, due to being able to link up with people they know online in the US that have the game, thats the main reasojn im considering getting it over FFXI now, to play alongside you guys |

I think they're expecting more UK people to play plus it might be open to Germans, French, Swiss, Gouda, etc. So they may need more language carts.
Korea, lets face it, isn't exactly the US or UK..They have a constant threat from North Korea and people may just not be in the mood to play games as much. |

i can understand it from the translation point of view, as EU launches tend to have the same disc and you chose the language at the install stage. but it still makes no sense not to have servers linked to the US |

Like I said above...There's going to be like 10,000 people in Korea coming aboard and the UK will probably be another 100,000...It's just smarter to do it that way. |

i suppose, still sucks though, most of the people i know who play games online nowadays are in the US (mainly you guys) pah, i may just have to go it alone!!!!!!!!!!
