phhhttt. Here in the USA, as long as they don't injure themselves in some way, we can shoot them when they step on our property.

God Bless America.

about time! That reminds me of a post someone made somewhere on the net about a sad accident that occured when a guy defended himself against a burglar:

''A man in the U.K. found his family home's front door broken open. He armed himself with a kitchen knife, and when the burglar attacked him with a crowbar, he stabbed the lousy scumbag goblin to death.

He has just been found guilty of manslaughter, and faces a long term of imprisonment.

Clearly, Brits have been relieved of their right to self-defense...''

That was back in 2002 ... well, it's good to know you DO now have rights in self-defence!

Ya Excel...but we train our little girls and boys on how to use ours down here. I will relate a story i heard a woman tell at the shop one night.

"I once had this pig and I named him Johnson, cause that was the president at the time. Well Johnson started gettin big, cause I fed him all the time. One summer my dad and uncle and all the family came around and started lookin at Johnson. The said how big he was and pretty. I was so proud cause that was my pig. Well, Uncle Tim filled this big 50 gallon barrel full of water and put it over a fire and I thought, 'wow, they're gonna give Johnson a bath. Well I stood there and watched a little while, they brought Johnson out and paraded him around. Then all of a sudden they time him up on a rafter out near the pen by his back legs and raised him up. I though 'how funny, they're gonna dunk him head first.' Then Uncle Tim whipped out a knife and slit Johnson's throat. I ran back to the house and grabbed my 22 rifle. Momma asked where I was goin and I screamed at her, 'They killed my pig!' and took out the door. Momma came chasin after me but couldn't catch me. She tried yellin up to the pin but they didn't hear her. I stopped about 60 yards out and fired right at my uncle. Hit him right in the theigh. Momma wrestled me to the ground and I just started cryin."

I heard this late one night in a pizza restraunt. I love southern women. Just be careful, they know how to shoot.

Salut.

Graillik, Nice.

As for the issue at hand, If someone breaks into my house I should be able to beat the crap out of them. You figure, what if he's got a gun? He'd shoot your family and take your stuff. I'm not a possessive one though I'd let him take the stuff if It meant he wouldn't kill anyone. But he better not kid himself for a moment because If I see an opening I'm taking it. I read a story somewhere about a burgal who broke into a guy's house and slipped on a kid's skateboard. He sued the family of the guy who's house he broke into and won.

This is horse shit.
This is just a shining instance of the judicial system letting people NOT accept the repercussions of their actions.
