Rejected again... GAH!

It's a more cautious approach, one that I've employed before, but flawed in this manner:

There's a "secret" window of opportunity in which the female sees the male as a possible candidate for a suitor. With this kind of cautious approach you frequently run the risk of missing this window and moving straight into the "let's be friends" zone. It's all about reading body language (not universal, but a good general tool) and being aware of the female language of "hints" (the female's safe way of not putting your feelings in a prone and vulnerable-to-hurt position but can also be used as a form of subliminal manipulation, depending on the girl). If you are unaware or ignorant of these things you will miss your window.

Technique #2:
We will refer to this as the "Odds-Approach" or the OA. Using the OA will give the male a much easier method of dealing with rejection because it carries with it the implied mindset of "I CAN suceed at this I just need to find out the specific terms for reaching my goal." The implied mindset of the OA also lends it self nicely to an aloof attitude which puzzles (and ATTRACTS) women fiercely because then they want to know what you "know" that makes it so you can be so detached; Is it that you only wanted to "score" and you can find it somewhere else? If that's the case, what're they missing out on now?; Is it because they are flawed in some way and they are the exception to a general rule of success that you've experienced all your life? If so do you regard them as something unobtainable now or something disposable?; How come their rejection of your intentions didn't crush your feelings? Is there a way to distance yourself from your feelings that makes you less vulnerable to emotional pain?. All or most of these questions will race across or surface (to some degree) in the female mind in the "let-down" situation. Frequently you will get more attention from this technique and the aloof mindset you display will attract them out of sheer curiosity. So, the OA is (in my opinion) a superior technique for getting a date and female attention but we will now analyze it's downfall. If once you get the girl you want, you do not become the sensitive-type of person/mind you will not be able to connect with your potential mate on a more meaningful level, the level of feeling and emotion. The aloof mindset, if not realized and put in it's place, can become a state in which all life is viewed as numbers and every obtained goal only points to the next conquest seeing as how that is what brings success.

My God in Heaven it is the desciple I have waited for. I will take young Shado under my wing and teach him all I have to offer. He has hit the nail directly on the head.

I guess I left that out of the equation. The OA approach as shado called it is just to get your foot in the door. Kind of like buying that small multi pack of cereals at the store, you try different flavors out till you find the one you like, then you treat her real good and keep eating the same cereal.
