I remember back a while ago, in my high school days, I was a part of a message board (with Rev and Takao) where the people on the board would pick a concept, a card, a combo, etc, and build a deck around it. We'd post our ideas and thoughts, then someone would put together a preliminary version of the deck, and people would comment on it. This went on until everyone thougth that the deck was sufficiently polished, and then maybe someone played it, or whatever. I thought that maybe I'd start up a thread where a bunch of us Magic players do that. Believe me, it's a lot of fun. If you're interested, start posting ideas of what kind of deck you'd like to start working on!

He's cool, even though it seems that everyone who reviews Legions says that he sucks. Of course he's no Tradewind Rider, reprinting that would be utter madness. I don't think he's powerful enough for Type 2, but I think he's a beast in Block Constructed. Just wait...when Block season comes around and people start getting pounded by Bird decks packing Keeper and Aven Brigadier, I think they'll change their opinions. So with that, how about we try, not necessarily a Keeper deck, but a general Block Constructed Bird deck. Also, what about a Wizard deck? I think they're pretty cool. Keep the ideas coming...

No, suggestions don't have to be new cards. We just started off that way. Ovinomancer is cool! Sheep beatdown! Rev, somehow I knew you (or someone else) was going to suggest Dark Supplicant + Scion of Darkness. It's just something that is begging to be played with, but only casually, I think.

Ovinomancer - 2U
When Ovinomancer comes into play, sacrifice it unless you return three basic lands you control to their owner's hand.
T, Return Ovinomancer to its owner's hand: Destroy target creature. It can't be regenerated. That creature's controller puts a 0/1 green Sheep creature token into play.

Scrub....Reclusive Wight? What are you thinking?! That's probably the hardest card to EVER play effectively. It's just dumb. Friends don't let friends play with Reclusive Wight.

simple, its called a bird/wizard/soldier deck
It would pack some Sams, keeper, and voidmage, with some other things to throw in
And i have seen people make decks with reclusive wight. Andy, u were the one who showed me the deckplans from similar things like this.
The only thing im really thinking of with legions coming would be an enhanced Sliver deck. Any suggestions besides andy's "Go find countersliver" suggestion (by the way, im probably gonna go with a countersliver deck  ) |
