Xbox 2 is gonna get pwned. Now they wont have the high end system specs to make up for their lack of decent games. Its only a matter of time before Microsoft fails in the console industry.... Sony will not be defeated.

BUT I will be Devil's Advocate here and say that I can't wait to see what the X2 can do!! If they make any more Knights Of The Old Republic games, I'm sold. I haven't heard if the PS2 can do this but, any system that can update your games via downloadable content gets a thumbs up from me. Awesome. And if in the future they open the game codes (like the Linux OS) then people with the know-how could upgrade and customize their own games and make that content available to everyone in the online interface. The possibilities are wonderfully overwhelming...

Bought...Live will kick and games like Oblivion will rock,plus games like Ninja Gaiden 2,Halo 3,racing games,and some new support from big Japanese game creators...HDefinition in mind,etc,etc...i hope all 3 consoles do great also and the XBox will be right up there,which is cool,competition means good games.

There has been a lot of competition with this generation of consoles. It hasnt meant good games for xbox. Halo, LOTR, and Ninja Gaiden is all xbox has had worth mentioning. If they arent going to have anymore with the next gen, then I have but one thing to say..... What Competition??

As far as HD goes.... I dont have an HD TV and its kinda appauling that HD is such a big part of the next gen consoles. No one cares whether or not the game is fun.... as long as it looks "pretty".

HD-TV has been pointing its muzzle around the corner a lot. It's only natural for console companies to take advantage of the new technology. Can be used in favor of games that want you to get immersed.

Okay... that last post didnt come out right. I dont mean to say that there is anything wrong with HDTV. I think its great that the Consoles are including it with their next generation. However, IMHO, I dont think it should be nearly as big of a selling point with consoles as everyone is playing it out to be. You get a Console to play games, HDTV may make it look better, but looking better does not make the game "better" IMO. Consoles are about the game and everyone, even the game developers, are begining to lose sight of that.
