OK, first of all...sorry for the board necromancy. I know I'm late, but I just have to say something here...
I wanted to see this movie SOOOO bad, and never got around to it. However, my film club at school just showed it tonight and I went to the screening. Two words...
Holy Crap!
...this is one of the most visually impressive movies I have ever seen. And the storyline was fantastic. I LOVE how it's straight out of a 50's comic book and/or adventure novel. And the blend of sci-fi into a post WWI world was pretty much flawless. I'm ALL about this one and am considering going out and buying the DVD tomorrow. |
