For thsoe who are curious, and close to an area of their respective country that has the release, the animated movie Steamboy is opening today. Apparently led by the same artist that produced Akira, the visuals as well as what little I've seen for trailer plot make this appear to be worthwhile. The animation club from my home town is coming up to my college town to see it, as one of our theatres has it. Should be intereseting. |

Now back from the movie - visuals delivered, good casting for English dub, ADR scriptwriter needs another couple years in the minors. Worth seeing on the matinee or the student discount, most certainly. |

We often enough don't get to see anime on the big screen, so this is a must see for me |

i saw it! It was really good. The storyline is great and the animation is awesome. I didn't think it'd be so violent though. Definitely a must see for anyone that loves anime.  |
