Demonic vs. Dusk

Being pulled off balance, Demonic moves with it, rolling from the kick without coming to any incredible harm aside from a good bit of pain that wasn't there before. An elbow flashes out quick as a wink to strike Dusk in the ribs while Demonic falls.

Dusk couldn't dodge the elbow.
Too Fast.
The hit made him loose his grip on Demonic's wrist.
How can you beat this guy?

Dusk tried to kick Demonic as he hit the ground.
Gotta keep cutting at him. Wear him down. If you can.

Demonic falls right into the kick, which hits him hard, eliciting a grunt. Wincing at the pain as he rolls again, this time away from Dusk, Demonic suddenly lashes out, body coming up supported by his hands while his leg moves out to kick Dusk squarely in the knee cap.

Fast... but maybe...
Dusk jumped up to avoid the low kick and sent his leg forward to kick Demonic in a jump kick.
Gotta think outside the box here. Maybe we have a chance.

Demonic lowers with the failed kick, until he lies down again, letting the jump kick miss him as he rolls away from Dusk, into a crouch. There's a smile on his face. "I suppose it's my turn again. I'd better not waste any time, then." Waiting for Dusk to be ready again, Demonic pops up from his crouch, spinning with a speed that can only be described as virulent; his heel swings around to collide with the side of Dusk's head, fast as greased lightning.

Dusk rolls to the side missing the kick to the head.
He twists and tries a spinning kick towards the airborne Demonic.

In the time it takes Dusk to roll away and twist enough that he can hit something airborne--having to get up in the process--enough time will have elapsed for Demonic simply to complete his turn in the air and land, turning to face Dusk. The kick he deflect downwards with a sharp bat of his left hand, which then moves from the deflection and forward, bright red from hitting the leg, to punch Dusk squarely in the stomach. Demonic is off balance in this maneuver from the hard deflection, but hopefully he can catch Dusk off guard.

Dusk gets the wind knocked out of him.
For a moment a rage seems to overtake him.
In a blitz, Dusk charges at Demonic in an elbow rush,
Hoping to take him down or even just knock him off balance.

What are you doing?

Demonic braces himself against Dusk, not expecting the sudden rush. He stumbles backwards as his leverage suddenly moves, elbowing him right in between the eyes. Staggering from the blow, Demonic lowers and then charges forward sharply to slam his shoulder against the already-winded Dusk's stomach and pull his legs out from under him.
