A request for training

[Tobias]

Tobias was about to hop over the blade when he saw the short detour it took, in which he jumped outwards to the side into a power roll. Getting back up, he brushed himself off.

"Very good! Attacks like that will throw your opponent off, since they don't expect it coming. Let's see what else you can do."

[Zzyxx]

Zzyxx, useing a katas as a template, feinted slashing downwardly then threw a front kick.

[Tobias]

Tobias sidestepped the slash, but got caught by the kick: "OUF!!"

Getting back up, he shook himself off, "Alright...now we're getting somewhere."

Picking his arms up, he rolled up the coat sleeves, showing the steel gauntlets wrapped around his upper arms.

"Continue senor..."

[Zzyxx]

Zzyxx improvised his strikes, again using katas as a template, but ever changing in his assault pattern. He threw in punches and kicks, as well as his sword skills.

[Tobias]

Tobias began deflecting each attack: "Good...your vagrance is...advancing..."

He deflected one attack, and began his own attacks, drawing Eden in a flash and beginning with some moderate sword slashes

[Zzyxx]

Zzyxx defended in the manor he was taught, quick movements in key areas and the occational counter attack!

[Tobias]

They continued for some time, untill Tobias stopped

"Ok...now that we have the basics down, lets move into the more advanced. Ready?"

Tobias gripped Eden tightly, and went into an offensive run, leaping forward and throwing much faster attacks.

[Zzyxx]

Zzyxx used his elven speed, Knowing vagrent a little better helped him greatly. He was able to block a good portion of the attacks.

[Tobias]

Tobias ended his attacks abruptly, and lept back: "I dont think i have anything more to teach you. The method of Vagrancy is a powerful one, and you now have a basic understanding of it."

He reclamped Eden to his back: "The only thing you have to do now would be to master your elemental ranged attacks with your range. This is something both Silver and myself are good at, yet it is something that comes with experience, and not just training."

"Rather true. When given tools to cause damage at range, you should know how to use them. Effectively, it can mean that one can beat twenty without considerable effort. I'd suggest figuring out a few ways of hitting stationary targets before trying out some live ones - they all behave very differently.

Oh, and one other thing - you'll want to learn how to fight masters of different types of weapons. What you were doing with Tobs will work for a swordfighter, but if you try some of it with a polearm fighter, you'll be gutted easily. Feel like a demonstration, Tobs?"
