Yeah, this new commercial really gives it a better spin than the other one, now Im excited to see it, this should be good. Im still concerned with how many books they are goign to cram into one movie though.

There are about four and a half books. (I saw half because Mostly Harmless really doesn't count as one of the 'trilogy,' but it's still in the edition with all the stories.I'm wondering the same thing. Will it just be the first book? Or the first few? Or even all.

OMFG. I think I'm going to cry. I read that review, and then the 'parts that were missing' article, and...THEY TOOK OUT LIKE EVERYTHING GOOD ABOUT HITCHIKER'S GUIDE!

I was so excited about this movie! Now I'm not even sure I want to see it at all.

Ok, i just when to see this movie, and i hate it. simply put, this is the absolute worst movie ever made. in fact, i belive it trupms the atomic bomb as being the worst thing to ever sprout out of the human mind. I thought Alien versus Predetor was the worst waste of two hours of my life i could ever have imagined, but i would rather watch that move twice then see the pile of steaming fecal matter they dared entitle "The Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy". now, i was prepared to be disapointed because very few movies can be as good as the books they are based on. For instace, the LOTR trilogy was probably the best movie made from a book i can think of, but it still didnt get quite up to the book. Not to say that it was a bad movie, it was good, dont get me wrong, its just almost impossible to get anywhere close to the goodness of a true epic book. As far a similarites between the book and movie, A) the name of the movie and book B) The name of the charicters (and things) C) The Earth was distroyed D) Ford and arthur got onto the vogan ship, then the heart of gold E)...... thats all i can think of. Not only did they compleatly dessicrate the book, but they stamped on its remains, spit on it, incenirated it, used it to wipe their shit spewing asses on, they didnt even have the decency to give it a proper burial, or make its facimily with any pride or care. in short, this was the worst defacement of any piece of art in the history of man kind, and it has ruined my life.... now im going to go cry.

and after that, i will find the names and addresses of the director, producers, the studio, and the spawn of lucifer that "helped" Mr. Adams write the screenplay. then for the rest of their natural lives, i will send them hate mail, and hire as many voodoo docters as i can to curse them and their seed for 2^276709(they couldent that number right!!!) generations.

now if you'll excuse me, im going to go cry Bawl

He did but before he died he wrote a screenplay for it, and someone helped edit it for theatres.
